My name is Amanda Peterson and the reason I’ve decided to make a blog about learning to play the piano online is because I think it’s so important. I’ll explain:
About a year ago I received my grandmother’s baby grand piano after she passed away. I was thrilled because as a little girl I used to dream about getting a tutorial on piano, then growing up and playing songs for her. Unfortunately I never did learn how to play, but granny knew how much I wanted a good piano tutorial when I was young which is why I think she left me the piano.
In short I wanted to learn to finally play the piano not only for myself, but in memory of her as well. The only problem was coming up with the extra money to pay for tutorials on piano and even more challenging, coming up with the free time to have the lessons! After getting home from work everyday just exhausted, I started wondering if there was a way to learn the piano on my own time by possibly learning online.
I thought it was a far shot but to my surprise I found a fantastic program called Rocket Piano that not only taught me the basics of playing online but I use it to practice to this day! I think that this program is perfect for anyone looking to learn how to play the piano but doesn’t have any extra time to invest in piano tutorials and because of this, I thought it might be nice to share my experiences with the program. I am hoping by doing so, others can realize their own dreams of learning to play the piano online. My blog is full of information about my journey and experiences with the program so enjoy
